Our Preschool provides a comfortable home-like setting amidst established trees and garden, in the heart of Thonglor. We offer placement for children from 18mths to 5yrs. Here at Little House we believe a warm and caring learning environment, partnered with meaningful learning experiences will help our children to travel happily and successfully on their learning journey.
Our teachers are all highly experienced and have a special enthusiasm in meeting the social and learning needs of our students. They are continually updating their skills and take on new initiatives to ensure that our methods of teaching and learning are the best they can be. The school is run by Susan Whalley, a New Zealand trained teacher, who has over 10 years experience in education both in her home country and in International Schools all over South East Asia.
At Little House we make sure that your child learns through carefully planned play activities based on the British Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS). This document ensures that we focus on developmentally appropriate skills, and helps us formulate the building blocks of your child’s first school experience. The curriculum is delivered in a rich, caring and engaging environment which enables each child to realize their cognitive, social, emotional and physical potential. It extends a child’s range of learning experiences beyond that which can be provided within the home, in ways which are complementary.
To accompany our Pre-school, we run a Playgroup four times a week. We believe that socialization from an early age helps develop children’s communication, knowledge and social skills. Mum, Dad or Nanny are involved in assisting their child to share, play, experiment and learn in a preschool environment. This experience often makes the transition into our pre-school classrooms a smooth and stress free experience.
Please feel free to contact the school for more information, and take the time to read through our website to gain an understanding why Little House can make your child’s first experience at school a positive and rewarding one.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
A warm welcome back to Little House. We hope that you have all had a relaxing holiday and have enjoyed spending some family time with your children. It was lovely to see the children all so excited about starting back this morning!
This term is a busy one! The teachers and I have spent the last few days working on the theme of Enabling Environments. We have particularly focused on improving our provision for outdoor activities to bring more learning and play opportunities for the children. Specifically, our wooden house will be a restaurant this term. We have started with a coffee shop, which quickly turned into a Starbucks! Using this environment will help develop skills from every strand in the curriculum. Our students will all be chefs this term for the restaurant during their cooking lessons, and students will serve each other and dine in the garden.
Next week, look out for Thonglors new Thai restaurant, where I am sure the food will be extra spicy!
